Routine wellness exams are recommend. These can help to catch an issue early and used for preventative care.

Rabies
This virus attacks the central nervous system and is fatal. The rabies vaccine is required by law. One year after the initial vaccine is given, a one year or three year vaccine is available.


FVRCP
Feline respiratory diseases are highly contagious among cats and kittens. The vaccination is highly recommended for all cats and kittens. The vaccination should be given again one year after initial vaccination series and then every three years.

Leukemia
This is a high-mortality disease. Feline leukemia produces immunosupression, which can lead to other diseases, infections or forms of cancer. It is transmitted by direct contact with other infected cats, infected food dishes or litter boxes. This vaccination is highly recommended intitially for all cats and kittens, and annually for cats going outdoors or in high risk environments.
Intestinal Parasite Exam
This allows us to treat the following common parasites: hookworms, roundworms, whip worms and coccidia.

Heartworm/Flea Prevention
Heartworm/flea medication is vital to keeping your new baby free of intestinal parasites, ear mites, heartworms and fleas.

DA2PP
This vaccine protects against Parvovirus, Distemper, Parainfluenza and Hepatitis. These viruses are very common and higly contagious and can be potentially fatal. We have both a one year and three year vaccine available for adult dogs.

Leptosirosis
A bacterial infection secreted through wildlife urine, and can be contracted by humans as well. We recommend this vaccine annually for adult dogs.
Bordetella
Infectious respiratory disease is highly contagious and is transmitted through the air. We recommend this vaccine every six months to pets that are boarded, groomed frequently or in group settings with other dogs.
