- Saturday: 8am - 1pm
We recommend scheduled appointments, but walk-in appointments are welcome.
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately. If possible, it is best to call before coming in so that we can be prepared for your arrival.
Emergency & Urgent Care
We have veterinarians and personnel on duty six days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet may need. Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life. Emergencies can be things such as snake bite, hit by car, and chocolate or rat poison ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call or come in immediately. Our veterinarians work very hard to accomodate you and your pet in between scheduled appointments. Please do not hesitate to bring your pet in for any issue you feel is pressing.
All after hours emergencies are referred to the Veterinary Emergency Referral Center. They are located at 4800 N. Davis Hwy in Pensacola. They are availabe 24 hours a day. No appointment is needed. Their phone number is 850-477-3914.
Drop-off treatment available
Clients are welcome to drop pets off for treatment during regular business hours. Annual exam and vaccines, baths, injuries and sick animals. There is no additional charge for day boarding with this service.
Surgery
Surgical procedures are done Monday-Friday. We offer all routine surgeries (spay, neuter and dentals), in addition to less common procedures. Pre-surgical blood work is recommended to evaluate for the best anesthetic choices for your pet. The surgical doctor will perform a thorough exam prior to anesthesia. Pets are monitored by a surgery assistant before, during and after the procedure to ensure the safest outcome. Monitoring equipment is used with every anesthetic procedure. Pre- anesthetic pain medication is administered to all patients. Take home pain medication is included in most procedures.
Patients are dropped off between 7:30 - 8:30 the day of surgery. (We offer drop off the night before surgery at no charge) Food should be removed after midnight the night before. Water can be available. Most surgeries are discharged the same day after 3:00p.m. An appointment will be made to discharge your pet. This gives the doctor ample time to go over instructions and medications.
We will call you the day after surgery to check on recovery and answer any questions.
New puppy and kitten visits
We recommend that all youngsters begin a vaccine protocol at six weeks. This protocol is continued every three weeks until they reach the age of 15-18 weeks. The vaccines chosen depend on the individual pet's life style. (See vaccine recommendation tab) A complimentary puppy or kitten pack is sent home on the first visit. This includes: Hill's Science Diet food, the first month of heartworm and flea prevention and lots of information for your new addition.

We offer two different runs for our canines. Our standard run is ideal for single dogs or two small dogs. The deluxe run is ideal for big dogs or two dogs boarding together. Each dog has access to the inside air conditioning or to go outside during the day (the door is closed at night) to enjoy the fresh air. In addition to the outside kennels, the entire area is screened in to keep bugs out.
Each of our canine guests has numerous opportunities for supervised play times in our enclosed courtyard and lavished with love by our kennel staff.
For our feline guests, we offer two choices. The standard cat cage and our cat condos. The cat condos have their own private storage and a litter box area. Each condo has a clear back window positioned in front of our BIG window overlooking the play area. Your cat can relax and dream of catching the birds just outside the window on the bird feeder. For our feline friends, that like smaller spaces, our standard cat cage is available.
Our cat room is separate from the dog kennels so our feline guests can have a pleasant stay. Each cat has the option of coming out to play in our kitty play area and getting lots of love and attention.
