The Newest Member Since May 2008: Prince Desk Kitty A.K.A "PDK"
This young man is full of energy and mischief. He loves to greet you at the door, whether you are human, cat or dog. He likes to think he is the boss of us all here; and our practice manager Sandie (his human mom) doesn't let him think other wise. PDK loves snacks and feather toys. He has been known to sneak treats and shred feather toys with ease.
PDK's interests are teasing pets, treats, stealing Dr. Inomata's feather pens and letting his human mom spoil him rotten.

Family Member since 2006: King Tut - "Tut" for short
Tut likes to lounge in the cat room all day and loves looking out the window to the great outdoors. Even though he is not allowed outside, he has been know to try and sneak out. Although he is an adult now, he is a big playful baby at heart.
Tuts Interest are gazing out the window daydreaming and sleeping in the sink when tabby is not there.

Family Member since 2000: Momma Kitty - "Momma" for short
Momma was orginally a feral mother of several kittens. She was very ill and had a horrible infection in her right eye, when she was found. Momma and her kittens were rescued and brought to the satellite office in Jay(no longer open) for recovery. Dr. Banta-Gibson (moved to NC last fall) had to remove her eye in order for her to recover fully. The kittens were adopted out to forever homes and Momma claimed her place here with us. In spite of being a little crabby, she is happiest just left to sit in her office (Dr. Inomata and Dr. Dawson's office), in her chairs (also the doctors' chairs) and monitor the traffic.
Momma's interests are sleeping in the doctors' chairs and eating treats.

Family Member since 2006: Tabitha - "Tabby" for short
Tabitha was a rescue, that just never left. She is a sweet girl, who like Tut just hangs out all day in the cat room. She loves to drink running water out of the sink. Later during the day, she can be caught either sleeping in the kennel sink or on top of the cat condos. Although Tabby is actually one of our house cats, we are still keeping the option open to find her a forever home with someone who would be willing to be adored!
Family Member From 1995-2008
Aubie was the orginal house cat for Ark that we had since he was a kitten. When you came to visit us at our first location on Hwy 90 (that we moved from) Aubie was always there to greet you. He could always be found laying on our counter in Reception as he is in the picture. Aubie was our mascot for years, One of his favorite things was to ride on your shoulder and get back scratchings and rubs. There was not a employee past or present that didn't bond with Aubie. When we moved to our new current location, the bigger reception area was a little overwhelming for him. So he took up a new spot in the kennel in our laundry room, where he ways always relaxing and laying in his bed. Aubie passed away in his sleep on our 1 year Anniversary at our new clinic. We all loved Aubie very much and Miss him dearly.
